Chameleon is the story of my nomadic young adult years—a full decade in which I covered more than 60 countries. I wanted to fit perfectly into them all. The hilarious, shocking, heartwarming, incredulous, and profound situations that ensued are documented in this autobiographical work that, though very much real, reads like fiction.
This semi-autobiographical book explores the means by which we acquire new perspectives, including experiences that we look back on as having been “transformational”. It explores why some new perspectives “stick” with us and go into our toolbox, while others are but fleeting lenses through which we were once able to see the world.
